Neuroscience based wellness
for a stress free workplace
Welcome
Hi and welcome! I’m Michael Arnold, founder of Macu. I’ve been practising and teaching Five Element Acupuncture for 20 years. I also hold a degree in Neuroscience from UCL.
Research shows that acupuncture activates specific brain regions and triggers long term changes in brain chemistry.
At Macu we’ve treated a lot of people in the busy and demanding corporate world. We’ve found that it can make a huge difference to your ability to cope with stress and to stay calm and focused.
People come to Acupuncture for a variety of reasons. From anxiety, stress, burnout and depression, to insomnia, back pain, fertility and autoimmune disorders.
At Macu, we treat the cause, not the symptoms. The treatment is tailored to your unique needs.
Productivity Drain
Research shows that a large percentage of employees are in sub-optimal physical and mental health. This affects their productivity, the amount of time they take off, and ultimately the success of your business.
The pandemic highlighted the vital importance of workplace mental health and wellbeing. Now employees rightfully expect their health to be a priority.
With more and more companies taking health concerns seriously, no company can afford to ignore the wellbeing of their employees. Many companies now offer a range of wellbeing solutions tailored to the diverse health needs of their employees.

Acupuncture changes your brain chemistry
I've been going to see Michael Arnold for years!
We all think about our physical health and mental health, but most of us neglect our energetic health - and acupuncture is a very effective way to look after this. Michael seems to hit all the right spots, because I swear I walk out of his clinic a full inch taller than when I went in, feeling much more mentally balanced too! In this respect, it does more for my posture and mind than yoga and meditation combined. Highly recommended.
