Acupuncture is a natural and effective treatment for insomnia. It has been shown to improve sleep quality, reduce the time it takes to fall asleep, and increase the total amount of sleep.
In 2021 a systematic review of clinical trials (Kim et al. 2021) found that acupuncture was more effective than medication for treating insomnia, after 3 just weeks of acupuncture treatment.
